Citizens from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay may
enter the country with any valid ID card and stay up to 90 days. Citizens
of the following countries do not need visas when traveling to Brazil for
tourism purposes for a period of up to 90 days:
Andorra, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda,
Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany,
Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Liechtenstein,
Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Morocco, Monaco, Namibia, Netherlands,
Norway, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovenia, South
Africa, South Korea, Spain, Surinam, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand,
Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, Vatican, Venezuela.
Citizens from the following countries currently need a visa for
Brazil Travel: Australia,
Canada, China, India, Japan, Mexico, Russia, United States and
others.
American Citizens will need the following:

US
passport that is valid for at least six months from the intended date of
arrival in Brazil.

A
duly filled out and signed visa application form. (Contact the nearest
Brazilian Consulate).

A
photocopy of your round trip ticket to Brazil.

One
passport-sized photograph (2" x 2") in color or black and white, front
view, full face, taken against a light background.

Processing Fee - currently $100.00

Valid
for up to five (5) years.
